CWM Recovery For all MTK Devices
Hello Guys, Here is another tutorial to build CWM recovery for all MTK devices.

Things You will need :
- MTK USB Drivers : PDA Net+ For MTK Drviers
- A Windows device to work on
- MTK Droid Tools : Download
How to :
- Install PDA Net+ and follow the on-screen instuctions
- Go to Settings -> Developers Options -> Enable USB Debugging (If you cannot find Developer Options in settings then Go to Settings -> About Phone -> Tap on Build Number rapidly till it shows You are a developer now, go back you will find developer options)
- Download MTK Droid Tools and open the folder. Now open MTK Droid Tools.exe
- Click on the ROOT button if it is present there. If not then no problem just continue
- Now, select the Root, Backup, Recovery tab and and further choose To Use Boot From Phone from the selections. Click Recovery and Boot, a message prompt will appear "To make CWM recovery automatically", click YES.
- Wait for the tool to build the CWM recovery and another prompt will appear "install patched boot to phone?" select NO,
- Wait a little bit more and another prompt will appear again "install created recovery to phone", now select YES.
- When the tool ask you to "reboot your phone to recovery", click Yes and it will reboot to CWM recovery shortly.
You have now successfully installed a Custom Recovery in your MTK Device. Now you are ready to flash custom ROMs.

bro i have cortex a7 mtk 6572 device and the mtk droid tools is asking for boot.img after selecting take from phone what to do??i tried giving them from my stock rom still no use any help??

no this will not work, and yes all my ROMs are non-ubifs and will not work on your device

are you running 4.4.x ? mtk droid tools does not support MT6572 devices running android kitkat 4.4.x

MTK droid tools does not support devices with android version greater than 4.4.x but the device is detected. Is your device rooted ? do you have proper drivers installed ? also try following the Fix MTK droid tools root issues guide it can be found in the Tutorials section of this website

ReplyDeleteit works on MT6592 devices, either you are doing something wrong or your android version is not supported. Doesn't work for you doesn't mean if wont work for others
DeleteMy phone is not going into CWM Recovery or Phone Recovery by pressing Vol Up + Power button and by pressing Vol Down + Power factory mode comes up.

DeleteHi, I have a device Textel Mod Tx-701 with a MT8312v, this cpu is a Mediatek cpu?? a tried to changed the rom (it came with android 4.2.2 Jelly Bean with kernel 3.4.5) using a rom for a MT6572 but after the process my devices dead...no energy, no lights, no logo, nothing happens when try to turn it on, just dead...what can I do??
