Build Custom CWM recovery for all MTK devices. 100% Full proof

CWM Recovery For all MTK Devices

Hello Guys, Here is another tutorial to build CWM recovery for all MTK devices.

 Things You will need :
- MTK USB Drivers : PDA Net+ For MTK Drviers
- A Windows device to work on
- MTK Droid Tools : Download

 How to :
- Install PDA Net+ and follow the on-screen instuctions
- Go to Settings -> Developers Options -> Enable USB Debugging (If you cannot find Developer Options in settings then Go to Settings -> About Phone -> Tap on Build Number rapidly till it shows You are a developer now, go back you will find developer options)
- Download MTK Droid Tools and open the folder. Now open MTK Droid Tools.exe
- Click on the ROOT button if it is present there. If not then no problem just continue
- Now, select the Root, Backup, Recovery tab and and further choose To Use Boot From Phone from the selections. Click Recovery and Boot, a message prompt will appear "To make CWM recovery automatically", click YES.
- Wait for the tool to build the CWM recovery and another prompt will appear "install patched boot to phone?" select NO, 
- Wait a little bit more and another prompt will appear again "install created recovery to phone", now select YES.
- When the tool ask you to "reboot your phone to recovery", click Yes and it will reboot to CWM recovery shortly.

 You have now successfully installed a Custom Recovery in your MTK Device. Now you are ready to flash custom ROMs.

    bro i have cortex a7 mtk 6572 device and the mtk droid tools is asking for boot.img after selecting take from phone what to do??i tried giving them from my stock rom still no use any help??

      the new MT6572 devices are not yet supported by MTK droid tools

    Hello. I have a 6572 ubifs. Should this work on ubifs too? Mine apparently doesn't...

    Also, all your 6572 ROMs are non-ubifs right? So does that mean I cannot port them to my 6572 units device?

    i have versus azur phone use mt6572 processor but an error message appear when i try to instal recovery :
    ERROR: no find kernelGZ
    ERROR: no split boot image
    what should i do please !!!!

      are you running 4.4.x ? mtk droid tools does not support MT6572 devices running android kitkat 4.4.x

    mtk driod tools doesnt work on my infinix hot 2 x510 Android One with mtk6580 :/ theres a yellow box when i click root to make it green no luck installed all adb drivers and pda drivers no luck :/ i want to make or have a custom rom for this device

    i have infinix hot2 x510 mtk 6580 which is already rooted but it asks me to root it again in mtk droid tool when i press root it says

    ATTENTION! File /system/recovery-from-boot.p which restore factory recovery in case of phone switching on in a normal mode Is Found!

    I need cwm recovery for my phone (qmobile s1 official lollipop 5.0 and kernel version 3.10.54) i tried mtkdroid tool and all the drivers already installed but its not detected by mtkdroid tool please tell me how can i make cwm recovery for my phone even i dont have its orignal firmware (sp flashtool firmware) if i get in trouble or in case of brick...?
    How can i make backup of my rom help help help.

      MTK droid tools does not support devices with android version greater than 4.4.x but the device is detected. Is your device rooted ? do you have proper drivers installed ? also try following the Fix MTK droid tools root issues guide it can be found in the Tutorials section of this website

      I have rooted my phone using kingroot but its not detected by mu pc i have installed an app called adbd srcure but it also didn't work and is there any way to make backup of its stock rom

    mtk droid tools supports kitkat, it only doesn't support a few MT6572 4.4.x
    there is PhilZ and TWRP recovery guide in this website

    I use walton primo RM2
    when i click on recovery after selecting boot.img, it says

    error:no find kernelgz
    error:no split boot image

    my phone is running on lollipop 5.0

      it works on MT6592 devices, either you are doing something wrong or your android version is not supported. Doesn't work for you doesn't mean if wont work for others

    My phone is not going into CWM Recovery or Phone Recovery by pressing Vol Up + Power button and by pressing Vol Down + Power factory mode comes up.

      try to use some app and see if you can boot into recovery, if yes then there must be some other key combiniation

      if you can reboot into recovery then it is not recovery problem, there must be a different combiniation for going into recovery

    Hi, I have a device Textel Mod Tx-701 with a MT8312v, this cpu is a Mediatek cpu?? a tried to changed the rom (it came with android 4.2.2 Jelly Bean with kernel 3.4.5) using a rom for a MT6572 but after the process my devices dead...no energy, no lights, no logo, nothing happens when try to turn it on, just dead...what can I do?? (perdon por mi ingles pero creo que has entendido) (sorry for my english, I hope you can understand)
