    T in MT6592T stands for Turbo, it is the same as MT6592 but with greater clock speed. and the M in MT6592M means that it is a trimmed down version of MT6592
    MT6592T - 2.0 Ghz
    MT6592M - 1.3 Ghz
    MT6592 - 1.7 Ghz

      mt6592 at 1.7 Ghz is fast enough dude and overclocking it to 2.0 Ghz will cause the CPU and the GPU to overheat a lot even with normal use

      that depends on the manufacturer. Your manufacturer might have locked it to 1.3 Ghz to prevent overheat. And MT6592 is not exactly 1.7 Ghz it is somewhere like 15-16 Ghz and you cannot achieve maximum frequency from any chipset. Doing so will degrade your processor

    Hi i have ported aicp rom for mtk 6592 and booted successfully so thank you very much. I have one problem though gmail is not syncing when i open it , it displays getting your mail and thats it , i cant sync contacts also another question does this rom has memory leak problem ?

    Hi. My device ulefone be pure uses mtk6592m chipset. Resurrection remix is successfully ported and flashed on my device. But after flashing, the clearmotion feature is lost and i don't know how to activate it. Is there a need to install or flash a driver? Thanks!

    I'm actually finding it hard to port it to my MT6592 phone...I would really need some help :( ...when I tried to port the AICP on my phone, while in TWRP 2.8.1.0, it says that it failed to change some items....but it rebooted and showed the boot logo, although it stays there and won't boot at all. Does it really take some time? Or did I do something wrong?

    Easy magic tool for Phylz and TWRP not working on my HTC Desire 816g MT6592. No error. It just bricks the recovery. I can install CWM using MTK droid tool but I want to flash AICP ROM that I have ported for my device but don't know how to get Phylz installed. Please Help!

      And Once I have tried installing rom with cwm and bricked the phone. AICP flashed successfully with cwm after changing updater file but it was unstable. After that I flashed stock rom and bricked it. So now I have to install Phylz before giving it a second go.

    Heys! I just stumbled upon your site (excellent domain name, I must say xD), and I'm feeling trigger happy about porting some of your ROMs to my Newman K1S, also using your guides.
    The problem is that the Newman K1S got stuck on JB 4.2.2 :/ At some point, a "fake" KK 4.4.2 showed up on needrom, but it presents unfixable sound issues, which makes it useless. So I was wondering, should I stick to porting the ROMs you have for MT6592 that are JB 4.2.2 compatible?
    Also, and not meaning to abuse your patience (because I've seen you have a full life besides this), is there any chance more ROMs will become available for JB 4.2.2?

      to fix sound replace libaudio.primary.default.so, you shouldn't expect ROMs for 4.2.2 zmt6592 because almost all MT6592(s) are running kitkat, and i develop ROMs only for most used devices

      I can't tell for sure if its (ZV Pro) MT6592 or 6592M.
      Almost all apps say MT6592, but my 6592 is 1.7GHz and this is 1.4GHz.

      Even the reviews say its 6592 http://www.techupz.com/walton-primo-rx4-vs-symphony-zv-pro/

      so, can there be different clock speeds for the same SoC?

    Great! The new OctOS ROM for mt6592m is very fast. However, initially on my posh titan e500a mt6592m, the wifi and bt wouldn't work, so I replaced firmware,security,wifi,bluetooth and it worked. I also replaced the mentioned .so files on the q/a but this time I could record video with the stock camera app in this octos rom (and the laggy camera illusion). The video is very laggy, and some camera apps with no lag like powercam, camera mx and such can record, but it says "save failed" and no file is saved. So maybe it's a codec/encoder issue. I'm wondering if you could help me on this one too :(.

      stayos is not made by me and I don't provide official support for it. So contact the StayOS devs for the fix, also there are a few Fix bugs in custom roms post here check the out
