      yes you can, but since it is triplle SIM i am not so sure and your 3rd SIM will not work or all SIM might not work because my ROMs dont have triple SIM support

    I have fake chip on xiaomi redmi note 3G, it should be MT6592, but I found its MT6582 inside, Too bad I have bought a fake xiaomi. But What can I do.

    Now im getting trapped in ROM things try to make the phone alive. Coz I have flashed with the xiaomi StockROM, and it completely dead now. Rest In Peace.

    I have 2 troubles :

    1. Even instaling mtk drivers never succeed now. when I connect to the PC, the drivers come and go in every 3-5 second. I have tried several mtk vcom drivers and uninstall using usbdeview when it not installed properly, and re install it. But have the same result. Im using windows7.

    2. I Follow your tutorial porting, I have install Java n kitchen and follow it, but stucked in making working folder coz i dont have right stockrom for mt6582 and dont have the backup.
    Yes there is another option you explain when we dont have any Rom backup, but where can I get the boot.img and settings.img since i dont have any back up. Please advice boss..

    Great, since i think its TRULLY FAKE xiaomi, no official stock room suitable for it, AND I never back it up before,....
    With this condition right now (my Phone Completely Dead) is there still possible to grab something from it using any tools to get it survive like your post below :

    If you do not have the stock ROM do not fear. Connect you device and open MTK droid Tools and Click on ADB TERMINAL and CMD will open. There type "adb devices" without "" after that type "adb pull /system system" without the "" some process will start wait 7-10 mins depends on the size of your system folder after it is completed close mtk droid tools and ADB TERMINAL now open the folder where you extracted MTK Droid Tools there will be a folder called System copy it and paste it in STOC_ROM.

      Lollipop to Kitkat port is not possible unless you have the Kitkat ROM for your device. And incase you do have a Kitkat ROM and port MIUI V7 you cannot share the ROM anywhere else other than upload.mtkroms.com

    Hi I ported half successfully Resurrection Remix to my Lenovo a606 with stock ROM 4.4.2 with mt6582m chip set. It boots up and then I fixed WiFi/Bluetooth/GPS. Only thin I can't port correctly is the cellular aspect, the Sim card and network detection, any help?

    Please I need help. I have installed the ROM BlissPop everything works fine except for one thing does not work recording screen over the GPU, works only through the cpu rendering but it lags badly .. I need help if you do not know how to enable applications to function for recording screen. On the recording screen, Android 4.4.2 worked great but 5.1 can not. thank you

    yes it will work. You may try but it will be really difficult and it is a must for you to use PC if you are porting a ROM which requires unpacking boot.img

      it's always advised to use PC for porting and using a mobile device there can mistakes in porting and the ROM can sometime be corrupted due to not having a proper zip archiver (no, even zipping apps can corrupt your zip)

      NO, replace META-INF from a working CM ROM from this site to beta 6. Do not report bugs if you use alternate methods. The beta 6 has a new binary which is important for stability nad bug fixes

    Help please, I have the phone mtk6582 processor. On it are all ROM with 5.x.x android version, and kernel 3.10.54 and work perfectly, but when installing the ROM is based on Android 4.4.2 when the phone is switched on, after the logo shows a black screen ( recovery based on 4.4.2). What's the problem?

      you need to enable advanced options by going to About > advanced options > and then all the features will be enabled and then tinker around with the settings. Also make sure you read the posts completely before you make a comment.
