ReplyDeletei got my infinix zero 3 days ago .. i was trying to put a custom recovery and i bricked my device .. i managed to get it to work (using a rom i got from a link here in this forum ) and now it's working fine ..
My problem is : Screen rotation is acting really crazy .. when i turn my phone to landscape the phone shows portrait .. when i flip to portrait it turns to landscape .. Temple run acting weirder .. to move the character i have to move the device up and down ( not left and right O.o ) Hope someone can help me am really sad about this !
and i can't send it to the care center because i got it shipped from another country , i'm from syria ..
if you can help me i'd be very pleased :)

Am guessing maybe they changed the sensors in latest devices ( like mine ) and this rom's kernel isn't compatible with the sensors !!! But that's a long shot :/

I had also flashed pure lolli Rom but same issue with it. I m having MT6572 device, Micromax A068. Please help.Both roms are excellent but fix the camera issue. This issue is only with my phone because I flashed this ROM on my sister device and no camera issue. Her device is also mt6572.

DeleteI folowed your guide till the end as I got the message "Your partition is only 6291456,ported.." it finishes with selecting fb2png and tune2fs but PhilZ recovery isn't installed when i go in recovery mode.
Deletedue, you did it wrong you have to uncheck fb2png and tune2fs but you unchecked all and only checked them

the CWM problem is due to MTK droid tools not supporting MT6572 4.4.2 but it supports other MT65xx devices running 4.4.2.
Deletethe PhilZ recovery problem is due to you not installing it correctly, please retry. and try to use a app to boot into recovery

ReplyDeleteI got a serious problem with my samsung gt-i9082 clone mtk 6572, I'm actually trying to flash a custom philz recovery img which is should work fine for this device. but it's not working at all and it just stuck bootloop with no welcome logo and reboot again. I have download multiple roms from internet decided for this device and trying to flash using sp flash tool, but still no luck. Sp tools came up with several errors. UNABLE TO DRAM etc... now I'm unable to even boot into recovery I'm so lost. I also trying to use bootloader mode / fastboot and proceed to flash stock recovery img using "fastboot flash recovery recovery.img" but it return with error "partition recovery not support flash".. tried flashing boot.img and its successful. tried to flash system img but it just stuck at "erasing system" .. now i think i only have 1 hope. it's flashing update.zip rom via fastboot. Do u think it will work? if yes, can u help/guide me on how to create a flashable rom.zip? thank you.

i think i messed up on my internal memory (proably format it to fat file,. i cant say that its the mount for internal.. it is 170:0 mount point) then i go to cwm it cant mount all (system, data, etc,) because i really messed up with mount partitions. tried every command in adb to mount but all fail... thus flashing original recovery format all mounts? im afraid coz cwm is my last deffence here... i tried latest sp flash tool as my last option but it gives me error on scatter file name which i get on my phone as a backup... please help
