Here I present to you all the Compilation of MTK Porting Guides.
Using these guides you will be able to port any ROM built for your chipset and your android version.

    Hi ajit, i tried porting S5 lollipop rom to my mt6592 rom but after flashing,the bootscreen was buggy like white with black borders and was stuck!plz tell me what went wrong.

      the guide is in the post itself for R.Remix ROM
      that rom is for dev only so i decided to not make a step by step guide.
      But once the ROM is stable i will make a step by step guide

      i suppose i never told you to replace bootclasspath line. The guide is there itself in the post, it is clearly stated what must be done and what must not be done

    I ported your aicp rom.. but when i connect it to pc,no usb connected notification is showing, just usb debugging is shown...how to fix it??

    Please bro,I plan to port a CM 12.1 rom for my device mt6580 running lollipop 5.1. I need your help on this since no port rom exists yet for the device to try your porting guide.here's my email valzey87@gmail.com.

      no you cannot, it will not work. CM 12.1 ROMs in this site are Based on Kernel 3.4.67 and are not made for MT6580

    I tried to port in 5 difterent variations on a Elephone G6 (Mtk6592,1/8 gb). Flashed ok, stuck at boot. Tried porting kernel with and without ueventrc Change. Full boot.img port and only zimage replacement. Edited mount points and init.rc. stil stuck at boot. This is the at least the 5th ported Rom from your site and second lollipop, until now had no problems. Any advice?

      Strange...

      I followed the porting guide:

      Step 17 states to edit init.rc.

      I will try to port the ROM withot that step. Only change the zimage from stock to port.

      Tried... not successfull. Decompiled boot.img, replacem zimage and recompiled... Stuck still at boot. Any ideas? Thanks

    What is the difference between guide # 1 and guide # 2?
    what I'm going to follow?
