This ROM can be ported to ALL MT6589 devices. Guide below. Android Lollipop UI for MT6589. This is completely Stable, Fast and Smoothest ROM for MT6589.

How to Port :


Step by Step video porting guide here : Video Guide

Delete boot.img in Port ROM and paste Stock boot.img in Port ROM

Delete/Remove" the following files and folders from PORT ROM folder.
- system/vendor
- system/usr
- system/lib/modules
- system/lib/hw
- system/lib/drm
- system/lib/soundfx
- system/lib/libaudio.primary.default.so
- system/lib/libcamalgo.so
- system/lib/libcameracustom.so
- system/etc/firmware
- system/etc/bluetooth
- system/etc/security
- system/etc/wifi
- system/etc/vold.fstab
- system/etc/vold.fstab.nand

Now open STOCK ROM folder and Copy the above mentioned files from STOCK ROM folder to PORT ROM folder.

Change mount points. If you do not know how follow the steps in this post from step 18. : Edit Mount Points

    i have a mtk 6589 phone gsmart maya m1 v2 and the boot animations is loading for 15 min and still nothing i have ported 2 - 3 roms and it worked but this roms it's not working.

    Thank you for your hard work on this ROM. Followed all the instructions and works perfectly on Xolo Q1000. I have a question though, how come you only want to release this here for personal use only? Why not share it on xda or similar sites? You could reach out to a larger audience as well.

    I've ported this ROM for my Mediacom G500, but there are some problems, for example, when I hold on Wi-Fi icon on the status bar, there is a system UI crash... another problem is that I can activate 3G from the status bar, can you help me?
    (it works fine, and sorry for my english, I'm Italian).

      report the ROM by :
      replace from port to stock :
      1. delete app,framework,fonts,media,build.prop in stock ROM
      2. copy the above files from port to stock
      3. delete all files and folders except for the /system and boot.img
      4. Copy all files from port to stock except /system and boot.img

    i have gionee gpad g2, my stock rom version is 4.1.2 and i replaced all files and boot.img and updater-script but in the updater-script there is no cust line but i changed mount number as i have 6 for data and 8 for system and i flash it but its stopped on micromax logo. do i need to replace permission files as u mentioned in guide video but did not write in your post so i did not replace permissions.

    i have note 3 pro custom rom for my gionee gpad g2 if its need same version of rom to be replaced can i replace note 3 custom rom's files with your lolipop rom i really need this bro plz help me its ok if u irritated with so much useless comments i will wait for your reply

    Hi, just want to ask.
    Can I use this rom for
    S960, MT6589 android 4.4.2. Kernel armv7l, 3.4.67.
    Because currently the phone do not support Google apps ex: play store, it crash after install and open from 3Rd party.
    After flashing this rom do the rom including gapps?
    If can the thing I needed to do is just unlock bootloader, then root access then install Cwm recovery lastly port the rom?

      I was used 4.2.1 stock rom plus ported the kernel too but now I got a 4.2.2 stock rom of a clone so how can I make things working?
