How to port :
- Here is the step by step video guide : Kitkat ROM Porting Guide

- Delete /system/apps,frameworks,fonts,media,priv-app and build.prop invstock ROM
- Copy the above mentioned folders and build.prop from Port to Stock ROM
- If there are any extra folders inside /system of Port ROM then copy and paste them in Stock ROM

Note : The below steps will be done outside the /system folder

- Now delete META-INF and any other file inside Stock ROM except for boot.img and system folder
- Now copy all files and folders except boot.img and system folder from Port to Stock ROM 
- Now edit mount points in the new /META-INF/com/google/android/updater-script 
Note : If you do not have your stock updater-script follow the steps from step 18 to edit mount points without stock-updater-script : Edit mount points

      NO -.- there is a reason i write the android version in the title. If running this in MT6572 JB all the MTK devices in the world would now be running Kitkat and Lollipop. Don't be dumb and read first, second think, then comment

      yes, your kernel must be the real 3.4.67 provided by the manufacturer and not the 3.4.5. And do not complain here it it does not work, I have specifically posted it only for 4.4.2

    It's not booting, seems freeze at android boot, i waited 20min..
    Any help or advice please?

      I replaced the boot.img as you said, no need to change mountpoint, 04 is Android.. Lollifox for 4.4.2 doesn't work too.. Where's the problem, my kernel ? Thx

      you can only change your kernel if someone has made a custom kernel for your same exact device. The possibility of which is nearly less than 1%

      you cannot build a custom kernel without complete kernel sources, and the possibility of you finding complete kernel sources for your device is less than 1%.
      If building a custom kernel was so easy there would be hundred's of them already

    So MTK Droid Tools clearly states that my MT6582 hardware is fake. Am I able to use this ROM even though its fake? Or do I have to use an MT6582 ROM?

    hey admin can I port it for mt6571?     Yo, almost all your Rom's work on my device mt6572 running android 4.4.2. Only problem is the Dpi, my phone is 320x480, so I normally set dpi to something lower like 130~160, problem is when I do this, your settings.apk always crashes. Can you provide solution? Thank you in advance

    hello, do you know why I get errors on this instructions in updater-script, when try to flash this ROM (status 7 error)?
