How to port :
- Here is the step by step video guide : Kitkat ROM Porting Guide

- Delete /system/apps,frameworks,fonts,media,priv-app and build.prop invstock ROM
- Copy the above mentioned folders and build.prop from Port to Stock ROM
- If there are any extra folders inside /system of Port ROM then copy and paste them in Stock ROM

Note : The below steps will be done outside the /system folder

- Now delete META-INF and any other file inside Stock ROM except for boot.img and system folder
- Now copy all files and folders except boot.img and system folder from Port to Stock ROM 
- Now edit mount points in the new /META-INF/com/google/android/updater-script 
Note : If you do not have your stock updater-script follow the steps from step 18 to edit mount points without stock-updater-script : Edit mount points

    Hey Ajit!
    I don't know if you've noticed but the download links you are providing are not working, at least not in India... This message appears whenever i try to download something “Your requested URL has been blocked as per the directions received from Department of Telecommunications, Government of India.     Ajit, is the rom just themed kitkat cos in the video, the notification drawer looked like kitkat??

      A good port will never result in bootloop. You are not porting correctly. This ROM is working completely

      Hardware buttons are working. It is problem in your port. Replace generic.kl from port to stock

    Hey Ajit!! I'm getting an error when try and flash the zip file.... I'm getting a status 6 error... I googled it a bit and found that it occurs mostly if the mount points are wrong .... I've checked thrice with the Droid tools but the mount points are correct.... Please Help!!!

      status 6 is due to corrupted updater-script check the updater-script for error

    Okay Tried again and failed.... same error ... all I do is change the three mount points(two for system and one for data) in the updater script...

    Okay now I've fixed the update script and the ROM flashed in the recovery without a hitch but now it's stuck at the bootscreen........

      Just one question Ajit. Why would my banking app and rom toolbox pro force close? Any ideas. I restored them from a backup with no luck, then reinstalled them from Play market but still the same problem. It's not a big deal, just thought you might have an idea. Everything else works great.

      try to take a logcat while launching the app, google if you don't know how to.
      But if doesn't matter much then no problem, studying the logcat will take time so yeah

    If i try to use the port.zip its show error.
    i think the problem is my "sd card" if i copy the files on SD card in recovery i just can use device memory.

    Ported this ROM to my Kingzone K1 Turbo MT6592 phone and it works fine except for AudioFX crashing at boot and looping.

    Disabling it in Apps doesn't work. I fixed it by installing Viper4Android FX over it and now audio works fine.

    Only problem is I don't know how to remove AudioFX and install Viper4Android in the flashable .zip so I can re-flash the ROM when i need to some day.

    Stuff like both SIM slots work fine, HDSPA+ / 3G works fine, WiFi works flawlessly, GPS works so far (only tested while standing still but it INSTANTLY had my location even though i'm inside my house). Will test GPS while driving tomorrow morning in my car. It is notoriously bad on MT devices and especially on Kingzones in Europe so...

    So, could you maybe help me fix the AudioFX problem by showing me how to remove it from the rom and how to install Viper4Android FX?

      try to find the AudioFX app and delete it (this might cause crashes) I no longer have the ROM with me and I made it long ago, so I don't remember much

      I have deleted the AudioFX app in a build I made but it results in no audio at all. No crashes, but no sound either. Installing Viper fixes it as it installs drivers again which fix the broken / missing AudioFX drivers.

      I got the ROM fully functional now and everything seems 100% now so i'm happy.

      Also, I know the ROM is old but my phone only has 4.4.2 ROM available so can't run CM11 4.4.4 which is what I wanted to run due to not having a 4.4.4 kernel to port with.

      It does have 3.4.67 so it'll run Lollipop ROM's fine and I tried every single one of them from here and they all install and boot but every one of them has major bugs on my phone model rendering it unusable...

      I freely admit that i don't know enough of ROM development and Android in itself to fix those bugs like only having ''E'' for data and no 3G / HDSPA+ (SIM2) and hardware keys doing completely the wrong actions for example.

      CM 11 will work on 4.4.2 as long as the kernel is 3.4.67

      Hmm. Odd. I ported the kernel / ROM using the normal method and it just got stuck on the Kingzone kernel logo. Didn't even start the boot process / animation.

      I'll re-build it from scratch when I get back home from work and i'll try it again tonight. Thanks!

      Well, i've done it with CM11 and it works but again breaking bugs. Unusable.

      USB doesn't work. It does charge but the computer can't recognize the device.

      Data on both SIM slots only does EDGE. It will not in any way do GPRS (3G) / HDSPA(+).

      Home button doesn't do anything. It only like, selects a file or something wierd? I've seen more ROM's do this..

      The Kingzone is a hard nut to crack.. hehe. Might explain why no one bothers to develop ROM's for it..

      for your PC to recognize it, go to settings > storage > press the menu button, select USB storage and tick MTP storage

    Hi,Just Ported this rom to my phone, works great thanks except fot a little thing that bugs me, The blue notification light keeps fading on and off from the time it boots and will not stop. With stock rom it does the same but stop blinking as soon as system is booted up.

    Hey man, i really aprecciate your work on Lollyfox and i'm wondering, i dont have the stock rom of my phone it is a Blu Selfie MT6592, i have to use my phones stock rom or could be of another MT6592?       has to be your devices stock ROM, in the tutorials section of this website there is guide to make recovery flashable stock ROM

      Man sorry to bother you here, but i'm having a boot loop problem, i enter in recovery mode and clear the emmc, since then it's taking at least 10 min to the cel turn on, 2 question, can i fix this? and if i made a stock rom with the phone like this, this will still happen??
