3. Reboot and do not flash Gapps, SuperSU and Dolby at all
4. After ROM has booted go to Settings > About Phone and tap of build number multiple times
5. After developer options have been enabled turn ON Advanced Reboot
6. Now go to recovery mode
7. Flash Gapps, SuperSU and Dolby now
8. Reboot
9. When you are at the lock screen you will get notification that "SIM has changed" double tap on it
10. Click on SIM 1 and rename "Card 1" to anything
11. Now you will get 3G working !
You now have a bugless CM 12.1 running on your MT6592 device

Deletethat's called emulated and non-emulated, if emulated 2 storages mount and in non-emulated only one storage mounts and I made a patch which makes your storage non-emulated and only mounts your sd card and recognizes the sd card as internal
Deletei got it to work porting the original boot.img from pocarropa's build(cant make it ork with yours) and your system and data zip, anyways there is no sound and cant make sims to work any idea why?

ReplyDeleteI tried to port this rom to my coolpad 9976a, if i use libaudio.primary.default.so of this rom it boots, but there is no sound. If i use the lib from stock rom then it is stucking at starting apps. I tried all other options mentioned in the porting guide, but none works. Any solutions?

ofcourse you have to replace zimage that's the most important thing in the whole porting process, instead of comparing uevented.rc just replace from stock to port and try

a kitkat device running 3.4.5 kernel ? the possibilities are only 1% I believe that the build.prop is edited to show android version as 4.4.x whereas it is 4.2.2, you can edit build.prop and change android version to even 100 if you like. Try using some apps which only run in kitkat, you can go to google playstore to check if android wear works

I can't make 3G to work.
SIM only works in 2G mode. If I change to 3G mode, the signal is lost and the "SIM has changed" notification comes up.
Things I tried:
- Changed SIM 1 card name
- CM 3G fix zip
- Network drop fix (95%)
Issue #2:
Internal SD card should be 4GB. Now it reports 2GB. Is it normal?
Also, there is a permanent exclamation mark over the signal bar. What does it mean?

DeleteHi Just ported your rom to my device, works great, camera was green but got it fixed, 3G was not working but fixed it, only things are that it doesn't detect my IR receiver so I can't use remote control app and battery is draining very fast, I can lose like 50% after a night a sleep not touching it probably due to the tap screen to wake function that I cannot disable in settings. Usually it drops only 1 or 2% for a night. Do you have a solution for these issues? Except for that Thank You for this rom I love it its very nice!
