How To Fix Upside Down Screen After Installing A Custom ROM

Fix Screen Rotation

So you guys have got a upside down screen or a different rotation after flashing a ROM ?
This is Generally cause by flashing MIUI and other chinese ROMs. I have a Fix for that too.

The Fix :

1. Install Root Browser or any other root file browser from Play Store.

2. Navigate to the "system" folder without ""

3. Find "build.prop" without ""

4. Open "build.prop" with a text editor, Just click on it and select text editor or something like that

5. After opening it find this line : "ro.sf.hwrotation=X" without "" where X  is equal to 180 or 0

6. If the value is 180 then change it to 0

7. If the value is 0 change it to 180

8. Now save it.

9. Reboot
After reboot your screen should be fixed now.

    hello my screen got inverted after flashing. when i did your procedure i fixed it. but my touch got inverted.. how can i fix my touch inverted?

      that shouldn't be happening, what was the default value before you changed it 0 or 180

      is the ROM ok ? is the ROM upside down ? if not then the boot logo was made upside down mistakely

      I have back up my stock rom form my mtk galaxy note 5 my boot yo logo is still upside down and it the same boot logo from the rom

      that is actually no big deal, just find a flashable boot logo for your resolution and flash

      decompile logo.bin and change the image and recompile. Find it on google.

    blisspop for mt6572 the display is inverted but the touch sense is not. amy fix for this? Please reply as soon as possible

      why not edit the build.prop and then reflash the whole ROM with the new change

      it is not a bug to fix, it is nothing of concern. You can still make calls and others can call you

      nope i tried calling my phone but it says its switched off. Also camera , audio not working,trying the fix at http://www.mtkroms.com/2015/07/bug-solving-cm-12-for-mtk.html. Is there anyting i shud be knowing?
